Despite suffering from spinal muscular atrophy, Judy has campaigned tirelessly to raise funds for individuals and charities. Some of her challenges have included army obstacle courses, skiing to the summiot of the highest mountain in Australia, the New York City marathon and riding pillion a Harley Davidson for 1,000 miles around East Anglia.
In April 2003, Judy was the 5th British disabled person to complete a four day dog sledding expedition in the arctic circle in Swedish Lapland. Two years later she did this again to Norwegian Lapland and lived rough in the wild arctic circle.
In June 2005, Judy won a British bronze medal for indoor rowing and became the first wheelchair entrant into the Midnight Sun Full Marathon in the artic circle in Norway.
Judy is determined to live her life to the full and has many more challenges lined up for 2006
