Graham Thompson is the Technical Editor of Trail Magazine, the biggest selling hillwalking magazine in the UK and Specialist Magazine of the Year.

Graham has been enjoying the outdoors for over 20 years and is passionate about furthering the appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of the outdoor environment. Graham is best known for writing gear reviews for Trail magazine and has been described as the most influential gear tester in the business. He currently lives in the Lake District, but his outdoor career began with weekend cycling trips around the New Forest.

Graham has dabbled in canoeing but prefers to keep his feet on the ground. He has cycled the length and breadth of the UK as well as the coastline of Iceland. He has walked across the Alps from Geneva to Nice and climbed 4000m peaks in the Alps. Graham has written two books and frequently gives talks on outdoor clothing and equipment. But Graham spends most of his time walking the Lakeland fells with his camera and two dogs.
