Campbell Walsh

Campbell is a full-time canoe slalom athlete. Olympic Silver medalist at Athens 2004, World Cup Champion 2004, 5x World Cup medal winner, European championship medal winner.

Born 26th November 1977, in Glasgow. Now lives in Nottingham and trains at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont. First paddled in 1986 aged 8, and competed in first slalom aged 11 for club CR Cats, Scotland.

Campbell suffered an arm injury which required surgery in March 2005 whilst warm weather training in Australia, but he has since demonstrated he is back on top form.

An insight into the lifestyle of an Olympic medal winning canoe slalom racer. My background and what it took to get onto the Olympic Podium. The training methods and technology I use every day - split screen video analysis, strain guages on paddles and power meters in the gym! Life the Olympic village. Recovering from injury. Going for gold in Beijing and the London 2012 Olympics. Plus plenty of action packed video footage of competition and training from around the globe
